Plan ahead to attend!
Please plan to attend the Youth Workers Meeting tomorrow from 2:30-5pm. With careful consideration of the weather forecast, it appears the weather will not adversely impact us until later in the day. If the weather worsens in the afternoon, I may consider shortening the meeting.
I am very excited about some of the planned activities, as well as a review of the roles and policies of our youth ministry. Come prepared to have fun and reinvigorate your burden for the youth in 2019!
Please contact me if you have any questions… contact Bro. John G.

This Friday evening, at 6:30pm, we will be showing the movie “The Inn of the Sixth Happiness.” It is based on the life of English missionary, Gladys Aylward. After hearing God’s call, she was rejected training by China Inland Mission. Determined that God would have her go, she spent her life savings on one way passage to China.
“Aylward became a national of the Republic of China in 1936 and was a revered figure among the people, taking in orphans and adopting several herself, intervening in a volatile prison riot and advocating prison reform, risking her life many times to help those in need. In 1938, the region was invaded by Japanese forces and Aylward led more than 100 orphans to safety over the mountains, despite being wounded herself. She not only led the orphans to safety, but personally cared for them and converted many of them to Christianity. She never married, but spent her entire life devoting herself to Christian work with the people of China.” (Wikipedia)
Bring a friend and some popcorn. You won’t want to miss this unique film!
There will be no youth activity this evening.
